You can measure distances and areas on the drawing.
※The accuracy of the measurements is the same as when measuring on a triangular scale from a paper drawing.
Setting up a base line
By setting up a "Base line" for uploaded drawings, you can measure dimensions and area.
For PC
- Select the appropriate drawing. If you don't have a drawing, please upload it here.
Please refer to Upload A Drawing. - Open the drawing and click "Annotation".
- Select "Annotation" and click "Measurement" and then "Base line".
- Drag the line from the beginning to the end of the dimension you want to use as a reference to create a Base line.
You will then be asked to enter the "Reference Value".
【Example】
Place a Base line on the flagging of "2400" in the drawing and enter "2400" as the reference value.
For smartphones and tablets
- After selecting the appropriate drawing, tap Memo.
- Tap Measure and Standard Line.
- Input the length of standard line and tap Register.
Measurement
■Dimensions
For PC
After setting up the base line, select "Measurement", "Measurements (straight line, square, polygon, freehand lines)" and drag it from the starting point of the measurement to the end point.
For smartphones and tablets
After setting up the base line, select "Measure", "Dimension (Straight Line, Rectangle, Polygon, Free Line)" and tap it the starting point of the measurement to the end point.
■Area
For PC
After setting up a Base line, select "Measurement", "Area (square, polygon, free hand lines)" and drag it from the start to the end of the measurement.
For smartphones and tablets
After setting up a Base line, select "Measure", "Area (Rectangle, Polygon, Free Line)" and tap it from the start to the end of the measurement.
